A Diverse Group of Publications

Over the years The Philatelic Foundation staff and consultants have written articles regarding either a particular "patient" submitted for expertization or a treatise on an area of the expertizing process itself.

Other "research articles" would include our slide shows (over twenty have been produced; they are currently in storage) and philatelic exhibits (e.g. our recent "United States Fakes & Forgeries") available to stamp shows world-wide (contact Alex Rendon at the address below).

To introduce you to some of the work that our current and former staff have done, some in collaboration with outside researchers, we hereby present a few excerpts from some of our research articles. They have been chosen to demonstrate some of the aspects of the expertizing process, including the usefulness of our enormous data base of former "patients." Enjoy!

We hope to keep adding other articles and excerpts to this site as time permits. Of course, as a Contributor to The Philatelic Foundation, you will be informed of all new research articles and have a chance to buy them at a discount.
